This perfect example is one of approximately 30 original RHD cars from a production run of just 430 units. This GL300 was imported into the UK by HW Motors and sold to its first registered keeper who subsequently owned the car for nearly 43 years until early 2010. This extremely rare RHD Grifo was originally ordered with Borrani wheels and an automatic 3 speed gearbox.

In 2011 the second owner commissioned a full restoration which took nearly 4 years to complete.
Works included stripping the body and chassis down to bare metal with all and any necessary repairs being undertaken followed by a full repaint. The factory supplied Chevrolet Corvette V8 engine, gearbox, and differential were completely stripped, rebuilt and a new interior installed.

The restoration was fully documented with over 900 photos. The receipts and invoices with accompanying documentation amount to over 7 box files.
